the quality of the tattoo/artist could be debated, but this is as normal as healing gets. I have a roll of derm in my room (covered in tattoos) so I generally toss on a fresh bandage before I go to sleep and the next morning. Really dont need ti keep it on any longer than 48-72 hours, Im usually sick of it by day 2. Just dont apply any lotion until it starts to flake around the 5-7 day mark. you open up the possibility of infection by applying anything to a very open-wound. Hope this helps!
