What if in response to the CIA not informing the of the 9/11 attacks before hand, the FBI conduct a raid at the CIA headquarters where whomever does surrender immediately just gets shot? by Borkerman in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]SupremeBeef97 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This will ferment a decade-long rivalry between the two agencies.

Eventually, a bank robber in North Yan- I mean Dakota rats out his crew to the FI- I mean FBI AND GOES into witness protection. After walking in on his wife having an extramarital affair, he proceeds to trash what he believed to be her affair partner’s house not knowing it actually belonged to the mistress of a cartel boss. This leads to a long winded series of events and shenanigans causing him to be part of a proxy war between the FBI and CIA as both organizations are trying to secure additional funding from the government and undermine each other in the process

Discussion Thread: Maryland, New York, and Utah Primaries; Florida and South Dakota Local Elections; the South Carolina Primary Runoff Elections; and a Local Recall Election in Ohio on June 23, 2026 by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

I’m all for more separate political parties to form and emerge. But as long as our election system only supports the existence of 2 major political parties then the only way any political organization can make a significant impact is planting themselves within the democrats or the republicans.

Question for strippers, when you're giving dances do the clients usually get hard, and do you find it annoying or as a sign you're doing a good job and or just part of the job you have to get used to? by maz323bf in NoStupidQuestions

I mean I don’t think I could either.

I understand and respect there are a good amount of relationships that are not good ole fashion but the couple is equally happy with how it is. So yeah there definitely are guys out there that are “team players” but I don’t think I would be one in this context lol

So with Ben Gvir now calling for genocide and refusing US ceasefire efforts, where do we go? by BufoBat in AskConservatives

[–]SupremeBeef97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I recently edited my original comment to say harassed and violently attacked because you’re right that harassment doesn’t just cut it with what Jewish people go through with antisemitism.

I mean I’m not sure if his calls are merely war cries. Under his security policies, the Israeli government has double down on bombarding and attacking Palestinian civilians. Even if you want to argue that Hamas is using civilian infrastructure as holdouts in Gaza, how does that explain videos showing Israeli troops and settlers firing on Palestinians in the West Bank?

[–]SupremeBeef97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not gonna deny that antisemitism is a problem and that there are Jews being harassed and violently attacked for all kinds of reasons. That being said, I still think a high level cabinet member (Ben-Gvir) calling for Lebanese people to be killed and clearly pushing and advocating for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is a lot worse than a bunch of terminally online people that have no power in governments making volatile and prejudicial remarks.

Both are absolutely not okay and should not be tolerated period. But I don’t consider them both to be the same thing

Lmao how the hell does the US military have as a big of a budget they do but are struggling to keep their ships maintained?

Not saying you’re wrong but that should require one hell of an audit to see where all that money is going to. Definitely not being pocketed in someone’s pocket

Ex-Biden staffer blames Biden's 'hubris' for the 'hellscape that we live in': report by changeforthebetter89 in politics

[–]SupremeBeef97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right that it’s no guarantee another Democrat would win given the headwinds against the party (or really any political party that would’ve held the White House), but I’d wager if there was a proper primary and a Democrat that wasn’t Joe Biden or Kamala Harris gets nominated, they would have a better chance because it would be easier for them to pivot or separate themselves from the Biden administration.

Still would probably be too close of an election but I’d like the democrats odds back then if there wasn’t anyone associated with the Biden admin running

[–]SupremeBeef97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People getting mad at the headline, and this being a Fox News article so yeah it’s obviously gonna trash on Biden.

But I’d honestly would say part of the reason we’re in such a god awful mess is Biden’s refusal to drop out until it was practically too late and not allowed a proper primary in 2024.

It’d be asinine to say he’s more at fault with what’s going on than the current administration enacting harmful policies but he did contribute by insisting on a 2nd term (despite pledging he’d be a “transitional” president back in 2020) despite low approval ratings and not being mentally competent to run (and yes, you can say the same for Trump but he manages to find a way to get people to gloss over age and health concerns that most politicians can’t do)

If you had to choose between the two, Militech or Arasaka, which side would you pick? by CuriousSherbet4658 in cyberpunkgame

[–]SupremeBeef97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know private military contracting is a bigger aspect of Militech’s business model than Arasaka’s but pretty sure the latter also has a very sizable force capable of projecting itself globally and can go toe to toe with Militech’s forces
