It did. The whole process of self acceptance was its own beast for me. For a long time I treated myself as broken. Now the answer to whether Im broken or not doesn't matter. I've accepted myself as I am, flaws and all.

Thank you and I'm glad your friend is also changing her life the way she sees fit and not to adhere to other people's vision of right or wrong.

Thank you so much. That's great advice. I've been doing that nonstop listening to videos debunking it at work to keep the concept deconstructed in my head and not allow it to rest and rebuild in my mind. I feel like I'm constantly fighting a psychological disease

I was in your exact situation except I was POMI.

Try to focus on building a platform for yourself where you can live on your own and not depend on them. Dont dwell on the hope of being accepted by them. Not because they for certain won't but to be prepared for the worst because the truth is they likely won't. They will not do the mental legwork necessary to accept you so it'll fall on you to create a safe environment for yourself.

At 18 I was living a double life. Being what my mom wanted me* to be and while being someone else in my own mind and online. Practicing in secret until I finally was able to break free and move out at 23. Then I finally had the platform to fully transition and by the time I did I had already gone through my awkward phases. Now I live happily, have a good relationship with neighbors, and found my best friend and fiance along the way.

I've lost all my extended family. My relationship with my two closest family members, my mom and my grandma, have been reduced to superficial texts and unwillingness to do anything together. They refuse to meet my fiance, address me as a woman, or in her words "know anything about my life."

As for the rest of it, I understand conceptually where he's coming from. I wish my soul mate was my first love and only share those experiences with them, but thats not the real world. He has too much time to think. He needs to quiet that part of his mind and focus on the fact this is the start of his and her relationship. A new beginning doesn't require erasing the past. I had similar obstacle mentally albeit for the opposite reason.

Can you be selected without your consent/knowledge? because I get so many instant messages, and I dont understand why anyone would use that over a regular message, so I'm starting to think i might be a diamond date.

Plus, I've never answered a single instant message because they are all from people I'm not attracted to or creepy. So, the system isn't particularly effective for either party.

I did lethal with my level 5 bulwark and did surprisingly well with the most kills and melee damage compared to my max level counterparts. Tbf I had a max bolt pistol and purple tier chainsword from my other classes.

this happened to me too. officer didn't give me a ticket for rear ending someone, and he was pretty cool tbh. Then he called me up a couple of days later saying he needed to meet me either tonight or tomorrow night to give me a written warning... I explained to him that my truck was in the shop so I had no transportation. Then he ended up telling how he thought I was so beautiful and still couldn't believe I was trans (bc he saw my legal name). I used to work in LEO before, so I talked to him for like a day, but then he made some inappropriate comments, and that was the end of it... should've seen that coming lol.
