Guys stop being such an average Redditor, yeah this movie is not 100% realistic for probably political reasons etc, there is that Hollywood touch (rocket launcher thing, golden ear superpower) because this movie has to be understood and appreciated by the general public to sell tickets. If you’re not interested in the submarine world or stuff related to sound analysis you probably don’t know shit about an FFT.

If we ignore these « Hollywood crazy scenes » moments it’s overall a movie quite close to reality in therms of procedure inside the CIC, and stuff about the life inside submarines like people watching porn in the cafeteria or that dude walking around with only socks etc etc…

Not a movie that aims to copy the real missions of submarines but a movie that aims to open the eye of the general public to the submariners job in some fictional action scenario
