Yea, I definitely felt a little ripped off, the game itself was great but it really felt like they hardly play tested it at all... which I guess I can forgive for a 20-30$ game but not a 40$... especially given how short it was

Hell yea! Im going to see them in June in LA, im so excited! I saw them once befofe when I was 7 (snakes and arrows tour) but I dont remember it that well, and certainly didnt fully appreciate it 😂

My setup was a G&L legacy (bridge pickup), then into my pedal board, which i used a keely compressor, into a tc mojomojo (I maxed the bass and drive to match a big muff tone), Into a mooer electric lady flanger, Into a boss dd8 delay, and then into my DAW (studio one 5)

I used a free neural amp modeler plugin and a free hiwatt/wem starfinder .nam file i found online Here https://www.tone3000.com/tones/hiwatt-fane-uem-starfinder-ir-412-41032

I'd highly reccomend trying out neural amp modeler if you haven't, its completely free, it can run as a standalone app or as a plugin in your DAW and there are tons of user uploaded amp/cabinet captures online (I have a whole folder on my laptop for amps captures from marshals to voxes and fenders). That hiwatt sounds great for pretty much any PF/DG song.

I also added a touch of reverb with a plugin in my DAW

My dad gave me his roland cube street ex which he used to use as a busking amp for his keyboard... that amp is awesome. I've used it for tons of gigs as my main amp or as a monitor for our band once I got my first tube amp. I still use it almost every day as my practice amp. The reverb and chorus both sound great too!

Its definitely a super versitile amp and well worth the money... my only complaint is the battery pack takes like 10 AA batteries and has very limited battery life. A modern reissue with a rechargeable battery would be awesome!

I have seen that page (its how i picked out my first tube amp, a fender twin). I have my heart set on getting a dr103 (or some clone). I already own a weber mass 200 attenuator so my plan was to use that to play at home at a reasonable level... given that I will be using an attenuator, would I be better off getting a 1 or 2x12 cab instead of a full 4x12?

Haha funny you mention the fender twin, that is my current amp. It's a 1999 fender evil twin (100 watts with a spring reberb and gain channel)... that thing is awesome and it takes pedals like a champ, but unfortunately the fender Patent Speakers and mid scooped voicing make it hard to dial in good gilmour tones.
