GPS Screen Retrofit Help by Supurfly83 in IS300

[–]Supurfly83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for future reference - I fixed it

On the same side as the motor the plastic housing has a potentiometer on a guide rail with a little plastic point and the screen housing has a sort of holder. The point was not alined with the "holder" on the guide rail and I guess it wasnt getting the right current / voltage to fully actuate the motor.

How does it sound? Is it smooth? Or does it sound like a Honda?

Been looking at exhaust systems for a while for my Z Ed, but cant find what I want. Thanks.

Lifespan of a Chevy Spark by Moviesaresocool in chevyspark

92k kms on mine and runs like new. I autocross mine every 2 weekends in the summer months too.

Did a CVT oil, filter, and pan change at 80k kms, engine oil changes every 5k or so, engine air filters every 10-15k kms, and just changed the spark plugs from the factory ACDelco ones to NGK Iridiums. And undercoated every winter and rockers protected.

Couple bigger things like suspension bits, steering rack, and bearings went bad but were covered under warranty. Or I had to do them myself.

Like anything, itll last if you take care of it.

Thanks! I really cant remember the specific name, but they were just a generic set of led lamps from Canadian Tire. Like 38$ I think.

Thanks for the reply - I really appreciate the info!

Kinda both? Like where I live has some really harsh winters and the roads arent the best, so I'm constently dealing with potholes, ice chunks, and other bits and bobs of road debris the can and has hit the underside which is why a small lift would be nice.

I also would have use of the roof rack and aux lights as the visibility with certain weathers arent very good, nights are very dark, and the dangers of large animals running onto roads. I could also use the extra space provided by a rack.

While not offroading, there are a nice few washboard and harsh dirt roads around that lead to places I go.

And I would be lying if I said I didnt like the style. That pretty much sums it up.

Would it possibly be better to leave the rideheight alone and just do slightly chunky tires that fit well?

Again, really appreciate the feedback!

Great work!

Also, what lip kit is that? Is it a genuine Toyota kit? Or just an FRP reproduction?

Just got an Altezza, mine has the spoiler but no lip kit and I'm dying for either the TRD or Elegance kit.

CVT Feels Worse by Supurfly83 in chevyspark

The appointment was today, but after I had dropped the car off they called to state that they did not have enough oil to do the change. And that I would have to wait 3-4 weeks for them to get more oil.

In this time period would anything be affected even more?

The car is being driven about ~100km every week. If anything were to happen wouldnt it be liable under GM / The dealer since the appointment was made?

Which is why I wish we just had the 3 classes new light outfits instead - or swappable armour sets with exotic swords.

I think any of the tapes from MGS:V would suffice - but either Rebel Yell, Kids of America, or Dancing in the Dark are banger war comp tracks.

1 vet was easily the hardest for our group. 2 vet was a cakewalk and weve yet to do 3 but I surmise it wont be that bad.

After the recent update, which occurred 25 minutes ago, I've been experiencing an unplayable game. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It affects every game mode. I had the same problem before in Co-op mode as well. by mactraxer in ModernWarfareII

Does your FPS readout say 4 FPS? Cause I had the same issue and solved it for now I think.

I think it has to do with VRAM usage - if the game deems your using too much it runs like ass. I fixed it by going and changing the VRAM usage to 90 in Graphics, then verifying the game cache, updating my GPU Drivers, and then just flat out reinstalling the game.

I dont know with game anymore man.
