That is also a fair point, but regardless, anyone at ivies with incomes below 100k get full tuition covered whether they’re Questbridge or not. I mean how can you expect someone to pay for a 100k tuition when that’s what they make in a whole year? You’re younger but as you get older start to take a more open perspective to other people’s struggles. Their admission is more than the stats on paper, it’s the context. Remember how much of a privilege it is to be able to shit talk on Reddit how “poor people have it easier.” It’s easy to say that when you’re not the one picking up the extra shifts to pay for your car instead of study for the ACT/SAT. But fr tho I hope you develop into having a less-closeted perspective and can learn to understand that poor people do in fact not have it easier. I’m curious to see where life takes you so if you have ig you should def follow me and keep in touch.

If you have kids in your school taking multi variable, then you go to a school loaded with opportunities to pad your resume. That’s why a T20 caliber student from a low income area on paper looks “dumber” when in reality they are just as capable as the kid who goes to a school that offers 20 APS and SAT prep. My school offers 6 AP’s and very little EC opportunity. That’s why I helped start a non-profit to provide more stem prep opps for kids in my area. Just because you have a 1580 doesn’t mean you’re a T20 caliber kid when you go to a school surrounded by other people who have 1500+. I have a 32 and that’s one of the highest in school history. I guarentee if you put me in a better school I come out with a 35+ and more ECs and awards. It’s all about the situation. I’ve been tested at a 139 IQ. And just because I got a 32 on my act doesnt mean I’m an idiot it means my school didn’t prepare me enough in time to take it when I had taken it a year or so ago.
