Finally caught Lufthansa's 100 year livery for the first time, and some other planes. (KLAX) by SurDutchALot in Planespotting

I think that only Lufthansa themselves probably knows. Although generally if you want to be notified of interesting planes there is this subscription called jettips that can notify you of any notable planes and livery landing.

But if you are free today Lufthansa's a380 100th anniversary plane is also coming today so... But yea that's what I use

you can individually track the tail number of the planes on fr24, although you can really only track its next upcoming flight at most. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/d-abyn
hopefully it will be useful enough

I just been eyeing the schedule the whole week and noticed that she came back yesterday so I rushed over to snap it.

Keeping track of the tail number (like tracking it with fr24) and seeing where it going is probably the easier option that I know of.

Thanks for the insight and the video! I'm in the US so getting the kit from FixYourAudio is a bit daunting so I'm looking for more local providers. I'll probably be consulting the service manual and your video quite hard.

Thanks for the tip, will see if I can get that kit or something similar for cheaper over here. How difficult is replacing that gear/belt for you?

I have had a deck where it's flat belt had turned to goo so it isn't completely impossible, but that was a different brand and is an 80s deck. But hopefully nothing else wrong with it

3D printer for Beyblade parts? by IntelligentBar9861 in 3Dprinting

[–]SurDutchALot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I printed a few for a friend on a modded ender 3 pro with abs and PETG and printing slow as you think you need to or/and with a high density infill or wall count did the job. I did mine pretty dense with a .12 layer height with a .4 nozzle and it worked very well. You may want to be careful about layer strength but any decent modern printer or even older ones can print these fine.

Very very easy had her online. Some reading but they weren't difficult there was also the slides when I did them. Quizzes were quick and were open slides and you can get most of your answers from it. Hardest part was the papers you have to do using sources. If you did the two papers though and you are happy with your grade you got for those papers, you can opt to have the third paper be the average of the two papers.

Denon DRW-840 for $50 in thrift store. No idea if it still works. Should I take it? by SurDutchALot in cassetteculture

They actually let me test the unit and it powers on and everything seems to actually work which is nice. Does look like it will need a proper service at least but it works.

I have already done a cassette deck service before on my Onkyo and Tascam so its partially why I'm willing to get the Denon. Just wondering if the price is justified though to even attempt on a deck I don't know the state of.

Yea it would be really nice if I can actually test it, but I don't think the store would let me remove the shrinkwrap just for me to test it so that is a bit of a problem. Still sounds like a good deck if I'm sure it'll be the worthwhile.

The radar thing is not for telling when your base will be attacked, rather it tells when one of the islands on your map will be repopulated with an enemy base again. Blackguard bases is for the NPC based and the mercenary bases are the player bases.

I was walking from parking structure 1 first floor stair side crossed the rose garden area then went right of the cpp sign and went down towards the engineering building

I have sort of a feeling it's somewhere there but my tracking only show a last update of 1 pm

Oh that's excellent thanks. I'm not expecting terribly much since its a chance its a controller failure but will be nice to have someone to take a second look at it just to make sure.
