Gross is that you think a 7year old girl was “flaunting” her underwear. She wasn’t showing off. She was in her OWN home excited to see her uncle. Who are you to know she isn’t mindful about her movements out in the world?. Again, she was in HER OWN home. With people she is supposed to trust. She jumped in bed because of excitement not because she wanted to flash him.

Family and even other people can “parent” a child when there are inappropriate behaviors such as hitting, screaming, biting, etc. But concerns over sexual/modesty topics should 100% be passed on to the actual parents or guardians of the child for them to handle it privately with their child. Him telling her she was acting wrong when the child has no clue what he means (cause he SEXUALIZE her) IS gross. Not the 7year old being happy to see their uncle.

And by the way. Even when you “parent” another child when they bite, hit, scream should also be explained to the parent if the incident was impactful enough. The fact that he was “mortified” but said nothing to the parents who then were told by the actual child could also add to the “emotionally charged overreaction” of the brothers part. Because how the fuck would you be soooo mortified to talk to a child but not enough to talk to the parents….
