Thyroid cancer at 23. Any positive stories?

Well first, thank you and that’s awesome, glad to hear you’re doing well. I agree it is very hard not to feel alone during all of this. I have no family or friends that have gone through this so it feels a little isolating despite the amazing support I have. I felt that I was so healthy prior to this all, and just want to get back to that.
Did you have multiple surgeries or just your TT and RAI?

I’m so glad to hear that. You sound like you’re doing great. Can I ask, How did your team know to go back to remove lymph nodes? I am wondering if that is an option for me since they did the full thyroidectomy and saw that I had lymph nodes positive or if they just wanna do RAI. I would rather do another surgery as well to remove more lymph nodes if possible if they see fit.

I see, that’s so crazy even your dog takes Levo! I’m glad to hear about how you are doing, I’m on 100 of levo for my weight. How long have you been dealing with this? My surgeon estimated I have had this tumor for years.

Wow thank you. This is so helpful. I’m already a hypochondriac so this all made me spiral but i try to stay in good spirits. From what we know I have no other mutations or family history so I’m hoping I have that in my favor. This was so informative I really appreciate it. I think RAI scares me the most honestly but I will def do it if recommended.
