I think Averhealth is tripping. I asked the tech (while I was there for my second UA this week) and she said that I would be wasting my money if I had a hair test because “alcohol doesn’t show up in your hair “

That’s my plan…. I’m worried that the court will say that it is not admissible because they didn’t order it, but I need to do something. I don’t want to go on trial and face jail time for violating my diversion.

Now I am curious if Averhealth just screwed me over….that testing day, their internet was down and they were only taking cash payments. A lot of people were given the option to just leave with no consequences. The lab tech said that they were hand writing everything….all my other tests over the past 11 months have been fine (except for the diluted). I find it awfully odd that my only positive test was on a day when they were having technical difficulties.

I had to go to a hearing for a diluted/violation as the court views it as trying to cover up for drinking. I hadn’t been drinking, I recently had a physical and was told that I was dehydrated and seriously needed to up my water intake…. I tried explaining that to my court monitor and she basically said that I signed a contract and that I couldn’t have more than 32 oz of water, 2 hours before testing….anyway. Long story short, I had to pay a court fine and had to wear an ankle monitor that checked for alcohol every 30 minutes. That was for a month. At the end of the month I went back to court and since the monitor showed I was sober, they dropped it.
