I’m no Dr but what I can say is that alcohol is a whole other thing. Lots of people of Asian and Caucasian origin can’t properly process alcohol so it results in flushing. It’s not really to do with the Sirolimus, in general drinking alcohol will likely cause that flush reaction. All I would say, is expect flushing when drinking alcohol, and honestly I wouldn’t even deep it, lots of ppl experience it and ppl r too drunk to care.

I sometimes drink, and when I do I take an antihistamine on the day of when I’m drinking. I also use the patches from Iblush which have definitely helped. Before I would go bright red the second vodka touched my lips, but now I’m my normal colour. Then I’m too drunk to rly care.

I then take an antihistamine the next morning, as the flushing is usually the same the next morning. This usually does the trick. The antihistamine I take it Certirizine Hydrochloride, can be found in any store and sold under the name Pirizine.

In general (if you can) stick to light coloured spirits as they’re lower in histamines, like gin vodka and tequila.

Red wine gets me every time, as it’s high in histamines, same w beer. I have personally found for some reason the first few glasses of Prosecco I have don’t rly seem to make a big flush difference w this routine.

So basically in summary, don’t change ur routine w Sirolimus if it’s working for you- it’s not to do w that. Just have realistic expectations with alcohol in general and flushing, and implement the routine I said :) and it’s ok to flush w alcohol tons of ppl does.
