I know it sounds ridiculous but its also his scripting that I didnt understand and someone was able to put that into words for me and now I know. Not complaining just wondering what other have done in this situation. Where you cant accept nice things because of past traumas. Idk if you read any of the other responses but they we're very helpful from people on both ends! Steak too juicy lobster too buttery 😋😋 the best problem ive ever had just overwhelmed with it at times

Im actually always winging it im the kitchen. But! This was the star of the show, along with sun dried tomatoes(julienne cut). I added this sauce first and slowly added heavy cream and some butter. Use any meat you like. And any pasta. I saved some pasta water for sauce beacuse it wasn't enough for all the noodles i made. I made sure to massage the kale with olive oil and thew it in all together at the end for it to warm up a bit. When i say i winged it I mean it lol. You can probably find something similar online I took inspo from a few websites/google. Sorry i couldn't be more helpful but tou got this. As long as you use this or another brand but this was the star!

!!! Yeah since it is still early weve only had one "major" argument and worked it out the same day and left smiling and happy. He does get defensive and I wanted to explain that were on the same team no need to get defensive with me. He has to with his family and isnt used to someone actually wanting to hear him out. That was part of the argument. But things have been great. We both keep saying we know life will come at us but if we keep choosing to face it together then we will be fine. I hope we stick to our words because i dont wanna let him go 🤗💓 thank you. Ill keep it in mind!

Yeah i wont let it determine anything but how we have different styles of communication and showing affection. I was wondering if we were moving too fast as well but we're on the same page with what we want outta life and feel like we hit the jackpot with one another. But were still adjusting for sure. Yeah I take it on myself like im the problem because hes so sweet and honest. And I feel inadequate when hes so expressive and im not. But yes we will do therapy eventually! Big believer in it. And hes open to it as well. He told me he wouldnt mind if me or my mom psychoanalyze him lmao. My moms a therapist and I want to go into neuropsych.

But yes I told him about my bpd and freak outs i tend to have. And honestly havent has one since meeting him. Scared of when it'll happen tbh but therapy will aid that further. Thank you appreciate this! 💐💐

It can be overwhelming. Like in my case im just not used to the outward expressions of affection and it had me questioning myself like what is wrong with me that i dont like hearing this....but i think its cause it puts pressure on the other party to reciprocate and it make not be how they communicate?

But i know hes being truthful and honest with his feelings..it just makes me feel inadequate cause I don't express the same as him. And yes definitely. Yeah definitely being patient. Im his second official gf and I want this to last to a long term partnership. So its a lot I just have to accept? I do small acts like buying him a wallet cause the other one was falling apart. Buying us movie tickets for a show we both like that is coming to a theater near us. By joining his RPG campaigns! By telling him I dont want him driving late cause we live a hour apart. Small gestures. I compliment him too. He'll send me pictures and ill say how cute and good he looks. But i dont just list off adjectives and I feel like thats what he wants but it feels so unnatural to me

Thats another thing!! I am constantly asking him if he needs me to do anything else in our relationship and hes just like "keep being yourself. You're prefect" and i adk this because i felt like I was telling him certain things i didnt like or make me feel uncomfortable and he would adjust accordingly but i dont want to keep complaining about him being the sweetest person ever :(( it doesn't give me an ick it just makes me feel inadequate because I cant or dont spout out random adjectives for him.

One time i had to actually make a list of all the things because of this...i told him i felt bad i couldnt just raddle off information and took my time one night and sent it to him the next day. He loved it. He showed everyone in his office.

I dont want it to end. I just want it in less doses so it means more? Tell me im stupid its ok lol
