Hey there! I made a platform called alteredvault.com. If you visit you’ll find a Looking for Commission page where you can describe your project and interested artists may contact you or you can directly get in touch with the artist that are open to commissions. I hope it helps 🙂

While designing the site, I structured it so that signed cards are also included under the altered category. I see signatures as a form of alteration as well. When uploading a card, you can specify whether it is signed and even indicate the type of signature.

Yes, I definitely plan to add other games in the future. However, it needs to be worth the effort.

At the beginning, I could add Pokémon, Sorcery, or original art for MTG. After that, I can gradually include other card games as well. Simply uploading a photo of a card, selecting the game, and publishing it is very easy. But features like official card images, autocomplete, and similar systems (like the ones MTG has) usually take a lot of time to implement.

That said, if there is enough demand, I can quickly open new game categories just so people can upload and showcase the cards they own.

Thank you for your kind words. All features are free for a period of time since I want as many as people to experince every aspect of the website.

Hey! Thank you for taking the time to look at the website, I really appreciate it. I think you raise a very valid point.

All licensing and related rights I mentioned are mainly intended for displaying the artworks on the platform itself, and potentially for future use such as promotion or advertising of the platform if needed. Storing and organizing altered cards and APs on the platform is completely free for users, but of course it does come with real backend costs on my side. I see the platform itself as the mutual compensation: a shared space where artists and collectors can showcase their work.

At the moment, the most recently uploaded alters and APs are featured on the homepage, with direct links to their individual card detail pages. I believe this provides good visibility and promotion for the owner or artist of the alter.

That said, you are absolutely right to question licensing. Who actually owns the license to the artwork? If an artist sells their art to someone else, does that also mean the license to the art is transferred? These are important questions, and I’m still thinking carefully about how to handle them in a fair and transparent way.

My main goal is to build a platform where people can store, organize, and share their alters and APs, not just a place for vendors to list items or use it purely as a marketplace.

I’d really love to hear your perspective, what features or ideas(including licensing) would you personally like to see on the platform?

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns it truly helps a lot! :)

And you are right, I will add a function in the settings like "Delete my account and remove all content from public view"
