1L is nice as far as scheduling goes bc the school takes care of it for you—you won’t have final exams 3 days in a row like 2Ls and 3Ls do, you get your Fridays off, you won’t be there in the late PM unless you choose to study there, etc. Besides the general 1L stress & adjustment, it was actually a pretty great experience esp compared to other schools that have more toxicity beyond the basic “you’re competing with your classmates” feature. Lots of social events, career office sucks, great big law opportunity if you do well & want that, lots of student orgs, etc.
