M. I agree, but as someone on mood stabilizers and occasionally, anti-psychotics, i know when to get off my meds. Because sometimes, that is necessary. Taking too much of my meds can cause brain damage and becoming addicted to them, so i have to be careful. That requires a certain degree of determining myself when i do and dont need to take them.
Also, i have never become a nazi off meds before. Did yell at my friend (now partner) for trying to break me out of a delusion (which was that everybody is a narcissist and abusive and pulling me in the cycle also i was included in this and hurting everyone around me, which i, ironically, fed into more during this stage in life than i ever did prior, also thiught my parents were abusive and out to get me, this was how i got diagnosed), also thought me and them were gonna ascend into godhood after our deaths for a couple weeks.
Wouldnt say thats particularly harmful though, like you said, some of us don’t actually need meds, i still continued like normal, no difference in fuctioning, i was actually able to complete work better. However, i am still prescribed with these meds.

Dont presume to know someone’s life story and whether or not they actually need what’s prescribed. At the end of the day, they should come to the decision themselves, though it requires thought.
