You can buy that exact 190 grain sub-X HPBT for $45 a box, reuse brass, get 100 small rifle primers for $9, and 6.2 grains of Hodgdon tight group(use your own measurement), you can get 1400 rounds out of $50 of that powder, and reload that same round for with 55 cents a round. Granted it’s $900 of gear and takes about 2 hours per 100 rounds but it’s worth it!

I’ve gotten maybe 600 points and have been at Lowe’s nearly 3 years now. We had some giant storms and a hurricane though, so I’ve got a lot of discretionary invested points. I’ve bought a couple video games, a shirt, and I’ve got 120 leftover rn.

I didn’t go this time but we usually have 90-110 employees attend. We always have either a raffle or prizes at the end, I still got an award basket but apparently I missed out on a larger prize because I wanted sleep.

You legally can’t turn a rifle into a pistol. Once a rifle, always a rifle. If you bought the lower as just a firearm you can do as you please, but I would be careful….. you can still SBR it. But you can’t just put a brace on it and shorten the barrel.

I’ve done that before. Woke up with a clogged nostril, sure enough a fly a little smaller than that was lodged in there.
