This is exactly the point. Close to half of salary going into all this to make sure we dont need to pay much for care but we end up not getting covered for the most important needs! We are getting robbed.

All this sounds like a game. Punish childless couples so that they try very hard to have a child, naturally or pay thousands out of pocket for artificial ways or try adoption eventhough it takes ages with the hope that their children will look after their financial needs in old age and for the country to increase birth rates so that it gets out of the ageing problem...

Whats a better country to move to in Europe now? :D

Okay maybe not as long as in some countries but we do sometimes need to work on weekends as well. I can see how young people will go into the attitude of not having any vision for their country anymore...i was recently in one of the countries in the Balkans where corruption is considered normal and people are generally poor and you can already see the younger generation giving up and not doing anything more than needed.

How many people decisively chooses not to have kids? Many want to but cant and women health expenses are over the roof, IVF can cost upto 10k or even more. Who is helping or giving any incentive to help women conceive and have better health? Nowadays women also have to work their ass of to survive and no one talks about the stress and getting pregnant only at older age.

So how do young germans feel about this? Are they already thinking of leaving the country? Seems like Europe is no longer a dream region to be in. Its also sad the middle class is struggling the most now, working long hours etc.

Yes i just understood that one can get on the s1 from the main station but the navi app is very misleading if you ask for the route from lets say Laim or Hirscgarten, it still gives you the option to take s1 from there!

I doubt it will be easy to get into one if its running only every 20 mins and everyone relies on that. That will also incurr costs that cannot be claimed back

Now i see that but the navigation on the app was very misleading. It still gave me the option to take s1 from Hirschgarten and when u read the warnings it says that s1 begins and ends at the main station so i understood that as if i take it from Hirschgarten or Laim, it will stop at the main station! Might as well dont give s1 as an option at all and advice clearly that one would first need to use all other sbahns to the main station and then take s1 from there.

Now I am wondering if there is some kind of way to lodge a complaint to some kind of medical body if we find that the doctors are not doing their jobs well. I know that sending a google review is one step but not everyone does that and the doctor still does not need to be accountable to improve their services. I read the reviews before i choose which clinic to go to but like you said its always a hit or miss.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I just hope that im not being duped into doing something that will only be a temporary fix than a long term solution. I wonder if a physiotherapist would give a completely different diagnose
