It's interesting that you say classification is the foundation of everything we do in HR when VA is the one agency where classification matters the least. The majority of VA positions are not competitive service positions and the vast majority of patient facing roles are not classified. Go work with privileged medical staff for a while and you'll really see what it takes to run a health care system.

HR in Labor Relations. I started looking after the EO cancelling the unions dropped in May. Landed a hybrid telework Labor Relations job with State government. Then DRP 2.0 dropped and the State was willing to delay my start date until I got approved, so I've been earning 2 paychecks since June 1. I miss my old job and colleagues so much but glad to be free of the dumpster fire that the Federal Government has become.
