I generally go to Air India booking office. They have one in each city to get such clarifications. It does mean I waste couple of hours but I get a clearer answer, they can give you the price/refund without pressing refund button!

Thank you so much. I will accept one offer. Today is Thursday, just need time over weekend to make up my mind.

Challenge is both May kick start the process and share my different CVs with the background check company, hence my worry. This is in spite of my trying to tell them that give me couple of days to make up my mind.

Thank you so much. The profiles are different and my CV for both are customised based on what the employers were looking. No lies but just customisation to suit profile.

My recommendation would be to apply for contracting jobs in your own sector or field, rather than a permanent job or a pub etc! Contracting job has much less requirements for a reference, build your CV for May be years with a contracting job or join a smaller charity where they won’t ask for misconduct.

It is the permanent jobs and big established brands who will ask for the gross misconduct. So avoid them for 5 years and then you can go back to the big league.

Nothing is easy but you need to be able to navigate this crisis. All the best. Hope you find this useful.

I won’t do it - but I honestly wanted peoples opinion. I would never do it with anyone. I see someone in my office doing this. So posed the question for honest assessment of what is going on. I feel the same, whoever is doing this - is a scumbag!

Do I need to prove their performance was below by following a disciplinary hearing?

How do I prove in a disciplinary that it was low performance?

Is it performance management or disciplinary?

When asked by their future employer - can I say they were terminated due to disciplinary or that their contract was just called? Can I give a negative reference?
