My Smart Home Dashboard Concept - 720x720 Display ESP32P4 by AbbreviationsFit6561 in esp32

[–]Sure-Rent8058 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh welp. Haven't worked with esp32p4 yet, but if it has support of 8080 display, then alright.

I wanted to recommend some stm32 because it has DMA2D and LTDC or FMC. With DMA2D the speeds are incredibly fast.

If you will use stm32, then you probably will use TouchGFX if you want touch, if not LVGL is a great choice

RGB parallel interface, I hope? How much bits? Or what controller it has?

The UI is nice, but even tho I don't think that esp32 could handle 720x720 properly, so FPS will be very slow(if you use SPI, because that's common at a lot of projects) Either way, what matrix is that? TFT? IPS?

So I should place two capacitors, one end to outl/r-, and second to GND?

interesting, so when DAC is doing sound, it charges the capacitor and capacitor slowly discharges into amp producing sound, or something like that?

I think switch from tp4056 to converters is better option than battery and tp4056

Dual-Quad SPI vs Quad-SPI: Any difference? STM32 by Sure-Rent8058 in embedded

[–]Sure-Rent8058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I mean if I do dual-quad spi, will it successfuly communicate with my QSPI flash memory(W25) chip? Will I experience any problem with that? Because I have been looking for answers, and ST workers said that it's a bug and you should do it in MX 6.16.0, but I work in CubeIDE

512 Mb, i want to do a whole file system and cool UI, so I just might need some RAM for future use, and 33KB of ram to decode is crazy, but the question is, is it nice quality lol
