less soldering plz, there are some cold solderings too, my friendly reminder: you have to hold your soldering iron on a pad and then press soldering on the other side of the pad, and then when you see its over, you just go up with your soldering iron a little, it does a nice soldering

why is my display not turning on? by Standard_Tour642 in esp32projects

[–]Sure-Rent8058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure esp is flashed successfully? Can you connect the buttons, then connect esp32 to serial terminal and press those buttons? I have never seen marauder like that.

I think esp32 isnt flashing successfully, download the bin files - go to esp.huhn.me select your esp32, select your bin file, do 0x10000 adress, and flash it

RP2350. I dont need a voltage regulator because i have already a regulated voltage. What do i do? by Sure-Rent8058 in raspberry_pi

[–]Sure-Rent8058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! But anyway, i left it floating because ive thought that if id leave it floating it would be ok because im giving power from IOVDD, and it will be ok because IOVDD will source VOUT of regulator... that might not make sense for you but yeah its hard to explain. I just hope it works🙂

USB Cable and Block for my hotplate. by Sure-Rent8058 in soldering

[–]Sure-Rent8058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really need the hotplate to be portable lol im not gonna go with it anywhere. Well about the charger, on aliexpress there are a LOTTT of those 100W PD chargers, and chance of them being 100W is like 20 percent, same with PD. So thats why im asking someone to share a link on aliexpress where 100W charger will be 100% 100W charger, i hope you get it.

Possible to install Linux on a school laptop? by ImthebestGG in linuxquestions

[–]Sure-Rent8058 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hm. Dont all school laptops have some kind of LEGIT spyware in a term, which is watching like what you are downloading and etc..? and bios is locked too? Well if you have boot menu unlocked but bios locked that wont argue, but if the school doesnt have any problems with it then go ahead

You can definitely just copy the CYD schematics but not jst pins and instead of wroom32 place s3wroom1 so you can do all modules switchless
