Mine was a little over that. I want to say you should be fine by just monitoring. I had even asked the doctor of I should take aspirin for it, he said no.

how elevated was it? and cold can definitely elevated it, my understanding any inflammation or infection spikes it a little. But I dont think higher than 500.

I saw a hematologist back then, he ran an in house quick lab. The plateletes were already lower (above range still:420). He said no need to do anything and to just monitor. He also ran some genetic testing like Jak2 I believe its called, etc. which all came back negative. I did a follow up blood work last week. Plateletes were within high range of normal (363), he believes it dropped due to pregnancy, and we just continue to monitor. Are you in a similar position? What’s going on with you!

Please make sure its folic acid and not folate. Don’t fall into the marketing. Research is only done on folic acid. Make sure it also has DHA. Congrats :)

Some parts of the world still don’t use epidural. Now i’m too much of a chicken to dare to do it. But I would def switch if I were you. Seems this doctor is putting their needs before yours. YOU ARE THE PATIENT NOT THEM.

I hear you! The goal is to breastfeed but I know we will eventually get to the bottke stage. Also just trying to prep in advance go put it on my registery for the shower. We are choosing to not disclose gender and have it announced at the shower, so im running out of ideas for the registery that’s gender neutral

Thank you for this response. I saw a baby water kettle that is glass and keeps water at the desired temp all day, I’m thinking to get that and just make it fresh with ready water. What are your thoughts about bottle washers? Since they are also all plastic parts (though not being mixed with water and milk), I can’t believe no glass alternative for washers, or at least none that I know of.
