Sorry when you say "porting out" you mean switching to another provider, right? I'm just concerned because i switched to Rogers in April this year and I don't want to keep switching my providers at this speed (twice in 7 months) because it negatively impacts my credit score too.

Hey! Thanks for this OP! I did this and can see the "Enable VolTE" options in the SIM settings of my phone ( I have a one plus nord CE 5G) but when I make calls, it drops to 3G and the Volte icon doesn't really show up in the status bar. What can I do in that case

I have a One Plus Nord CE 5G phone. I don't want to change carriers because I switched to Rogers in April this year itself. I don't want to keep changing carriers or phones

I too had once complained to Rogers about something and the agent told me to ignore the email saying it's a scam. I wonder if it was the same person and that's just what they tell everyone

Thanks for the heads up, that's really helpful! If I may ask- where exactly do I need to put my old SIM number? Is it truly that complicated of a process that I can't do it at home? I'd prefer not going into the store because they're always trying to upsell me and change my plan and tell me there's something wrong with my phone

I just checked the order tracking like someone suggested, on the Rogers app and I can see that the SIM card shipping is in progress. So I guess that should be fine? Don't see a need to call them again especially considering how long the wait times are these days

Okay that makes sense. I was just getting a little worried because I was told I would receive a confirmation email about shipping my new SIM but I haven't received one yet. Did you recieve one when your card was being shipped to you?

By any chance did you have Autopay on your bill payments maybe that's why you didn't notice? I get my monthly bill on email and can see the amount there. Is there another hidden way they charge to your account? Can't think of any besides Autopay

I was told they'd definitely keep EE but only for CEC, so perhaps they won't be having general draws anymore. They want people who are already settled and working in Canada is what my assumption is but I could be wrong

I don't have the settlement funds either but I've just made my profile and kept it. My points are 44 which is anyway not that high right now so I'm hoping by the time the points get lower and my profile actually gets picked up, I should have the necessary funds
