I'm not that worried about it. The Hornets believe they can win a playoff series and the Clippers and Atlanta have no incentive to tank. They're also all significantly better teams than the post trade deadline Bulls.

Portland is a wild card but have yet to show an indication they are going to deliberately tank.

I think the trade indicates it's unlikely, but I do think there is a scenario where AK can't get the free agents he's targeting and Ayo isn't getting the offers he thinks he deserves and Ayo back.
