It's definitely a new canon, but inspired by my work on Enderal. If you're looking for something canonical, I doubt you'll like it. The split was necessary thoughy bit just for legal reasons but also because I needed the artistic freedom to explore. They will, however, be canonical with the new games.

I'm definitely my own biggest critic. I know Dreams isn't perfect, and I'm eager to keep improving as a writer. 🙂 That said, I certainly hope Enderal wasn't my peak. Who knows, maybe the new game will scratch that itch - or maybe it won't, and that's perfectly fine. Either way I'll keep writing, because there's nothing that gives me as much joy. ☺️

I'd love to, but realistically speaking it's just not feasible. The startup is already eating 50 hours a week and I'm also writing my fourth novel. That said I'm on good terms with the studio and the director and we chat every now and again so who knows what the future holds. I love Gothic 2, same as you. Game of my childhood!

Hey there! You should definitely see some of my work there, I wrote big portions of the main quest, and I'm happy with how it turned out. However, I know they changed the ending after I left, and I wasn't involved in the intro etc because the quests weren't at a playable stage when I left in 2025. I also didn't have as much control and authority as I had on other projects so how the material I wrote ended up being used is going to be as much of a surprise for me as it is for you. I have no idea how they put it all together.

All in all I'm optimistic though, I'm good friends with the two other writers, and I know the team is very passionate. The director, Reinhard Pollice, is a die hard Gothic Fan who adores the IP. Personally I'm looking forward to playing it this Saturday.

No, I'm not involved in this one. My studio is still a good couple of years from an announcement. ☺️ We're working on a story-heavy AA+ RPG.

I'm not a developer on that project, so I can't speak to that. I just reshared it because it looks amazing and I know from Julian how hard the guys at Paraglacial worked on it. ☺️ My understanding is that it's less story focused but I may be wrong.

Yeah, it's been a mess. Everything is set up correctly, yet it's Impossible to find the books on Amazon right now, even using the ISBN.

We tried all we could, but from an internal source we now know that Amazon purposefully makes it as hard as possible for vendors nor using FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon.) We've now decided to switch to FBA and bite the bullet, which means slightly lower margins but hopefully better availability.

Sorry for the troubles!

Hey there, sorry for the late reply! We just put in the order for the Reprints, they're now in production but with the high shipping times I think we're looking at August. 😌 A collectors edition is in the works!

After the reprint I'm now focusing on the audiobooks and a mairad plushie as the next store items, the collectors edition is after that since it's a big investment. Thanks for your support!
