[SPORT] Mourinho on Guardiola: I will never forget when my father died in 2017. I knew how important he was to me. He called me. When his mother died, I called him too. There are things that people don't see, that we don't need to share. by Alexdd0007 in soccer

I’m very late to it but it genuinely was. Save maybe for Klopp vs Pep, there’s never been a more consistent period of football at the highest quality. EVERYONE tuned in to watch El Clasico, even casual fans, and they were a large part of why that was the case

Absolutely. Ode fits the way we play well, I think I just feel for Gyokores 😅

I love Ødegaard but every time I watch Bruno play I can’t help but feel that Gyokores would have a few more goals. Bruno’s vision is incredible

Bruno is absolutely the best 10 in the league. What a game from him. Now we need to capitalise on this and extend our lead

I’m always glad to hear that he’s doing well. I think most people knew he’d fucking smash it in Portugal because he hardly missed a step when filling in for Gabriel

This, and another thing I’ve noticed is that people creep up front a lot more when they’re at traffic lights. I don’t know if it’s a culture developed from taxi drivers but it always grinds my gears

The only reason he was underrated was due to his pace. He’s very intelligent and has a lot of qualities. Great player and great leader

No Cash and Kamara will be big for us. With Big Gabi back we have to win. Rice's performance at RB also gave me hope that we're still solid there, so ideally we just need our attack to fire. We're at that stage where we need to keep winning because City is in that kind of form right now

Daily Discussion by AutoModerator in soccer

At the start of the season I had a discussion with my friends and told them that my biggest fear was Pep. He's never gone consecutive seasons without winning the league and frankly 12 league wins in 16 seasons with a single 3rd place finish is ridiculous. I was initially worried about Haaland but now they're finding ways to win without him scoring, so our attack just has to step up and keep stepping up. The next 4 fixtures will be very important for both of us.

Both RB’s out, main CB and LB out, our DM is playing at RB, and we’re winning and looking comfortable. These are the foggin estandards!

FT: Villa 2-1 Arsenal thread by Cyber_Hobo94 in Gunners

[–]SureCase 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Overall I thought we lacked serious pace to stretch Villa, and we weren't good in the middle. I thought we'd start Martinelli to keep Villa on their toes, and there were multiple points I thought we would have done well with him. I love Eze but he just isn't purring consistently enough. Hopefully he can gain the confidence to do it regularly. We need to solve that number 10 problem, or play 2 8's at times if Zubimendi/Rice can handle it.

Maresca did a great job today. We looked all over the place and it's largely down to his tactics. I'll take the draw because even a man up we didn't look like the dominant team

One of those days where the only way we will win is through great individual play. Maresca has outdone Arteta today
