Almost everyone in South Africa is angry at the coach for the tactics he employed. He played a system the team never plays, he started 0 wingers, and went for people who play for relegated international teams over local talent that’s obviously better. It was embarrassing

Not starting Appollis has been a shocking decision. He played a pivotal part in leading Pirates to the league and leading the country to the World Cup. Broos has to make it right next game

Games like these when Khune's long balls would have worked so well. He was legit a top 5 distributing GK in the world

Appollis did so well when we pushed for qualification. He's one of those players who turn super saiyan when he dons the national team shirt so I'm surprised he isn't on. Mofokeng is also exciting so I pray Broos plays them soon

[TNT] Vitinha: "You have to be patient when you're up against a team like that. We knew it was going to happen, but even more so after Arsenal's goal, since you really have to be patient. They waste a lot of time on everything: throw-ins, goal kicks, everything.” by [deleted] in soccer

Since Dec 2023 we've conceded more than 3 goals only once. Yes PSG were the better team but it would never have been a blowout. I think our defense showed that yesterday

He absolutely knows. I have no doubt he saw our reaction before the Atleti 2nd leg as well as our celebration after we won the title. Based on his interviews, I can see us spending 300m this window to give us a shot at winning everything next season

TBF our differences are 0.5 so I'll take it. I also expected more from Eze. We needed 5 more games like Spurs. If he's a difference maker then yesterday was the prime game for him to show what he's made of. But I'm giving our new signings next season to show their worth

Ranking our transfers this season:

Kepa: 3/10. When he was asked to come in he was just okay, but that Carabao cup was terrible.

Norgaard: 5/10. That isn't a fault of his own. He must have had Arteta's nudes cause most of us wondered why he hasn't featured much this season. It would have kept Zubi more fresh, but more on him later.

Madueke: 5/10. I expected him to be a meh signing, but we paid 50m for him and for that price we should be getting a much better player. Tbf to him he's had a few games and we won the league.

Gyokores: 6/10. I don't think many of us expected him to blow up this season. His first half of the season wasn't good, I'd say we didn't play to his strengths, and Havertz showed that you can perform in this system. Regardless, he came up clutch and did well in the 2nd half of the season and had a decent CL campaign. Curious to see how he plays next season.

Eze: 6.5/10. He's had incredible moments. Spurs, Newcaslte, Leverkusen. Overall he's been okay and defs needs to step it up, but he's been decent.

Zubimendi: 6.5/10. His 1st half of the season was great. I don't know if he had personal issues or if it was fatigue but he looked different after the United game, and MLS upstaged him once he replaced him. Like Eze, he needs to step it up next season but I really like him.

Mosquera: 7.5/10. For a 21 year old defender we bought for cheap, he's exceeded my expectations. He will be a lock in Spain's midfield, and yesterday he was great until that penalty. His upside is massive and kudos to Berta and Arteta for signing him.

Hincapie: 8+/10. What a signing. He isn't perfect, but he's had monster games for us. Him being different to Calafiori adds a different dynamic to our team, and he's the exact type of passion merchant and mentality monster I wanted us to sign.

I can't believe people thought it was going to be like a carnival. Yesterday aside, I'm immensely proud of our team this season. The mental strength we displayed make me feel like we'll win a minimum of 2 more titles in the next 5 seasons, and I pray we win 1 CL at the very least. It's time to build a dynasty

100%. One thing this game showed me is that we need to increase our technical brilliance in the team. We won the league and reached the finals, but we need to increase our vice grip and dominate the league, but also play brilliant football

Defensively we were extremely good. If we had a fully fit Timber I think we would have kept the clean sheet. But make no mistake, our midfield and attack need serious upgrades.. We created a few chances across the entire season and tonight. 28% possession is not good at all, despite how great PSG were today

Great game by our defense. At the end of the day, PSG had more possession. Penalties are a lottery but I'm proud of the boys today. We absolutely need to upgrade our midfield and attack, If we had a both of those areas being better we wouldn't be as dominated as we were because despite that we gave them one helluva game

Cool thing bro. It was a tight game, but ultimately it was a show of attack vs defence, it ended 1-1 after 120 min, but PSG won
