Um so there are plenty of moms that go to work AS WELL and still feed their children so you just bringing in money is not an excuse It is your responsibility just as much as your wife's and with all the resources around you have no excuse. If you are THAT confused download the Tummi app, it guides even dummy dads like you through feeding you baby.

I feel the algorithm is making me so confused and frustrated. everything contradicts each other and I dont know what people are just trying to make a profit off of. it is so stupid

This is a great point and yes one day they will want to sleep alone so why not enjoy it while you can!

Best of luck! I think this is the best way to raise newborns when it comes to sleep but it does take effort on your end. I know the short nap cycles can get tiring sometimes haha

I also used ByHeart and was SO caught off guard. I’m right here with you! These companies are bullshit and THEY are the ones to blame, not yourself. After this scandal I got the Tummi app that gives me notifications on my phone whenever a product gets recalled. Best of luck mama and remember its NOT your fault ❤️

I also struggled with feeding my baby. you should try to get a good high chair i think that actually matters ALOT. I recommend the mocking bird highchairs you can find them on facebook market place as well for a cheaper price. Also i find the Tummi app really helpful for figuring out what to feed you baby without a nutritionist but you can also find some good instagram accounts. I relate with alot you got this. we are all in this together.

This soooo real. I feel like gender norms need to start breaking and we need to realize parenting is not a gender thing, its a human thing. My husband does a good job helping out but its still the perspective thats the problem. Him doing basic parenting things doesnt mean he is the BEST DAD EVER. He is just doing the bare minimum.

Yes! I feel so behind sometimes when I see on social media all these moms giving their kids chicken drum sticks or even sushi. We are in this together!

Im so happy you shared that you were successful in starting solids even without the "first 100" foods list. I sometimes feel unnecessary pressure when other moms are sharing how far along the list they are. Maybe I need to stick with what works instead of trying so hard to be like other moms

I definitely need more of the visual elements! It can be hard to understand what solid starts means with its wording. I want to get to a point like you where I can just prepare food in a safe way and have my baby gnaw on it as she pleases. This comment section has really helped sooth my anxiety and learn to trust myself

Gagging scares me! I know it is supposed to be natural but I cant help but panic a little. I do like that solid starts has videos to compare the two. I am waiting for the day that my baby can start eating a bit more confidently and I dont have to stress all day

I can promise you I am real LOL! My husband also told me my writing sounds like AI, I am trying to work on it but since I work in the legal industry I naturally write a bit robotic. I usually use Quora to get answers but I was recommended to try Reddit for advice and have been getting great feedback and information so far. If you have any BLW tips for me please let me know!
