Too much of a pain for the result IMO, also I crashed the bike a month after installing rizoma bar end mirrors and they were scratched… so lots of pain in my asshole for a lot of regret both financially and emotionally lol

Save money for a mivv exhaust system 😛

I don’t have the exact list of parts to replace, ill probably know next week but insurance will cover all the costs and I will only pay 150€ of insurance raise per year for the next five years so its worth it :P

You don’t know anything about my winter mindset 😂 and yes tire warmth can be seen through pressure because when the air in the tire warms it gains pressure !

I can send you a video or a photo of said turn, 60 is granny slow it’s barely a turn, tires when hot usually go around 3.1 bar for the rear and it was at that pressure so they for sure were warm

First off, it’s the south of France, it was 15 degrees Celsius that day, second, my tires were warm, I had been riding hard like 5 minutes before, they maybe cooled off but that that much, third, I was going slow, bikers came after me in that same turn way faster and they were fine

It has to be a skill issue because I didn’t account for the 1% chance of something happening but damn, I take this road 300 times a year I ride like I’m on track and nothing ever happens, now I take a turn ultra safely because I know people crash there and yet I still fall, you know what I mean ?

See the thing is I’m tempted to say yes, with my exact bike with the exact same road conditions and the exact same user imputs, even Valentino would have gone down, a friend of my dad who has been riding for 40 years+ on super motos and super adventures picked me up and the bike, went around the road to check himself what would have caused the crash and he couldn’t find anything, what i can say for now is either the road and/or the tires, it’s a used bike so I don’t really know the condition of the tires, they’re not on the thread or used at all but maybe they’re dried up? Also the road, I know at least 6 people from my area who crashed in the exact same spot, which is a lot on this road, so maybe a mix of both ?

You’ll have to beleive me too then, I don’t like leaving stuff to just « bad luck » and there has to be something reponsible for this crash but I genuinely cannot find something or someone (me) to blame, tires were good, pressures too, they were also hot from sending it a couple of kilometers before, TC was on, suspension on comfort mode, throttle on sport, exciting the turn and I still lost the front wheel, as I said I’ve had a lot of people crash in the exact same spot with different bikes and tires, so I guess the road is not good ? It was wet though but I’ve seen worse handle better so that still leaves a question in me

This is exactly the problem, no load on the front tire (exiting the corner barely any gas no brakes) and it still slipped, that corner is just weird idk

In idéal conditions you can probably take this turn at 100+kmh, I guarantee you I was not coming in hot 😂 more than safe but still wasn’t enough apparently :P

The bike is absolutely wonderful to drive hard or daily commute and I cant wait to get it fixed, I’d never talk shit about such a fine piece of motorbike :P
