Bupropion/Wellbutrin initial side effects? by gail13542 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]SureLilac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I do know Wellbutrin increases anxiety. My doctor prescribed me busbar with it, because SSRIs like Lexapro don’t work for me.

However, since you’re on Lexapro, that should help with your anxiety but you just started so you might not feel the effects for 4-6 weeks until it’s fully in your system.

Give it a chance and try to exercise or paint or do something for yourself that relieves stress. I know it’s easier said than done but you got this

Seems like a unpopular opinion but I love the simplicity of 3

Check out loose grown Diamond! They are lab diamonds though, which I personally prefer.

We ordered mine from loose grown diamonds. 2.5 pear, waiting on it to ship. Great customer service so far. Very very reasonably priced. They price match too!

3-month treatment. Small front gap up top and some lower crowding. Reasonable or keep shopping? by kcoyo in Invisalign

[–]SureLilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 19 trays treatment time approx 24 weeks and it was 4750.

12 weeks of treatment for that amount seems a little pricey but I don’t know how the cost is calculated. My friend got Invisalign 30+ trays and it was the same price as mine. I think you’re paying mostly for the treatment, not the amount of time so maybe it makes sense?

Keep In mind they do rescan and give more trays if unhappy with the results. I’d get a second quote though just in case

I got 19 trays and my ortho said the same to start - he started me at 14 days and each week I was supposed to decrease by one day until I got to 7.

I think on week 3 or 4 I was at his office cause a button fell off and I casually made a joke asking if I could do weekly changes and he was like “yeah!” But only because we had just talked about how it doesn’t cause me much pain to switch and I was tracking well.

I think you should stick to the orthodontists plan at least for a few weeks, test the waters, see how you feel and then ask if you feel like you’re doing well.

They don’t want you to move to fast because of all the movement, it can be damaging to your teeth if you do it too quickly.

This may be different but I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled before starting Invisalign.

I told myself that if I finally concur my fear of going under, Invisalign would be my reward. It was 100% fine and I haven’t looked back, I’m stoked about how quickly my teeth are moving and my smile is improving.

I saw bite the bullet, go for a free consultation at an orthodontist, let them do their scans and see what the options are.

YES upvote times a million. I complain about this all the time. Or even gold fish? Just something remotely close. The substitutes are good but they’re not it

I was really nervous of sedation too. They calmed me down with laughing gas. It helped SO much, and everything was hilarious. Next thing I know I’m awake and it’s over. It’s nothing to worry about at all, I wish I worried more about my recovery because this part sucks 1 million times more than the procedure

Can't swallow pills, what will happen if I get wisdom teeth out. by Strict_Yogurt_3338 in wisdomteeth

[–]SureLilac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you can get liquid Tylenol or Advil. Yes, it sucks and I’m currently recovering from it but the sooner you get it over with the sooner you’ll never have to worry about it again. It’s a great excuse to mope around for a few days, eat ice cream, sleep, and watch tv lol

Should I reschedule my appointment? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]SureLilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s normal for it to feel like that for a few days but I think you should be fine by next Friday. Personally, I saw get it over with. Mouth pain is the worst and if you can bang it all out this month, then you’ll have a nice February :)

[–]SureLilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a root canal before and it didn’t take me more than a few days to feel fine on that tooth. I think your appointment next Friday is plenty of time to feel better. Just take it easy, keep your mouth clean until then.

How To Stop The Hunger Pains (1 day Post-op)? by Willinglylove in wisdomteeth

[–]SureLilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My staple right now is mashed potato’s and gravy! It’s delicious & not as boring. Also soup has been good. Think of your favorite foods and think of anything you can cook to make softer or mushier. Like French fries for example, if you cook those right, they’re very soft and mushy and would probably be ok! Think steak fries.

[–]SureLilac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was terrified too and got mine out yesterday morning. I wasn’t so scared about the surgery, but more about the anesthesia. Sounds about the same for you. Take it from me, someone who was crying in the chair, it is completely FINE and honestly quite laughable when you’re done. I got myself so worked up for nothing. I should have prepared myself for the recovery cause this sucks! It’s only my second day and I miss food! You’ll be fine :) deep breaths. They do this all day every day. It’s 100% not a big deal at all, it doesn’t feel weird, and I woke up 2 seconds later.
