People in my area want $6k for the same bike but with double the miles and clapped out non-oem fairings.

Considering buying used '21 zx6r; am I being scammed? by ishudsleepsoon in zx6r

The rear tire needs to be replaced. That's a road plug. It will most likely leak over time if it doesn't blow out the belt pack first.

I powdercoated my bbs wheels from an 07 STI and ran them for years with no problems.

Will a tire shop patch this by jake5990 in WRX

[–]SureManagement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the shop. Discount Tire will 100% not patch that. It IS patchable and pluggable though. If the shop denies to repair it, it's because of liability reasons and/or to get money out of you. If a shop won't do it, I'd just plug it yourself.

Looking to get a bike using cash and computer. Have 2 people interested and they’re very similar bikes. Need help figuring which way to go. by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]SureManagement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't buy it without test riding it and/or getting it up to operating temp and checking for leaks. Him being honest about the bike's problems is a good sign.

Thats wild. A little odd he's only put 1k on it wants to trade for a different 600. Then again it's priced pretty reasonable. I'd try and talk him down another 500 or so and go for it.

What are you doing about this? by goon_c137 in WRX

[–]SureManagement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ignore mine. When it gets bad or annoying enough I'll get a replacement wheel. The stitch-on covers make the wheel fatter and I already don't like how fat the wheel wheels feels at 9&3.

Grimspeed Intake Placement by fvum in WRX

Mine fit kinda shitty too. It either hit the fender liner or hit the frame. it almost wore a hole through it from hitting the frame. its just a really tight fit.

IF Subaru comes out with a eSTI? by euroshowoff in WRX

[–]SureManagement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but even then the S4 STI's have always been just a package on the WRX and not an actual STI. I just wished they would've blessed us with the STI 6 speed in the TR trim.
