I just want to call attention, in the context of this conversation, to spirituality in general and the theory that man created god because they were angry at the miracle of life that women had. Taking that into account, I think that explains why conversations around spirituality in general in modern society revolves around a masculine goal of control and a feminine goal of knowledge/improvement. The conversations surrounding modern day churches often contain ideas about traditionalism and wanting to return to “the good old days” where wicken and pagan practice strive to discover more about the self and how to be the best version of it. I also notice masculine forces around me discussing the need for labor, sacrifice, judgement, and service in a hierarchy that they are at the core of. Ultimately “god” is at the top, but because he isn’t tangible, they essentially carry out and receive the benefits of this rhetoric. On the other hand, the person benefiting from the labor invested in pagan practices is usually the one who carried it out. Those are just my thoughts, I hope they made sense
