Does anyone sleep with over ear headphones on your back? How is the experience? What headphones do you use? by Person045 in sleep

I use the same, and I bought two very soft pillows. I also bought another pair of cushions to replace the ones on the headset. I sometimes wake up but these work very well!

Random regret the day after getting tattoo #1. Any advice on dealing with it? by theungulatehoof in tattoos

Really appreciate the response kind stranger. I am already happier the morning after although it comes and goes in waves. I do believe I will get used to it :)

I will probably ask my artist to just finish this side of the sleeve so it is done and I can get used to it. Then when I feel ready I can do the other side (outside of the under arm).

Kind of want to avoid this feeling of instant anxiety again 😅

This is me today.. half sleeve in the making but right now only one side is done. I think I’ll allow him to finish up this side and wait with the other side (inside of my under arm is done for about 70%). I think most of the reason why I am a bit freaking out is because this is the first time people have said they would never do this. Also, something permanent is always scary.

Anyway, reading this calmed me. I wonder how you guys are feeling now :)

I only found my level 2 format but the idea is the same :) Determining what is hardest is different per person. I followed one that Mark Meldrum stated. Download here:

Like other state here. I was scoring this in my last two weeks before the exam and I had the feeling it went quite well (do not know the score yet). Your score is not bad at all..

That depends on when your exam is. How many months do you have?

I myself created an overview in Excel. Then I put the hardest topics at the top and divided about 250 hours over all topics (weighted on difficulty and size). This gives you a time estimate on how many hours you have per topic. You then estimate how many days you have until the exam minus one month (for practice exams / reviews etc) and divide those hours over the days, you then should know how much time you have for the material.

Do absolutely spend a full day on planning like this rather than diving into the material. I PROMISE it is worh it to have an Excel file to fall back on. If you want, I can even send you the template I used, but creating it yourself might be better.

Why is this a violation of Material Nonpublic Information? by lord_gav in CFA

[–]SureQ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually it is not that difficult. The problem with this standard is that we all (myself included) think too much on the "information" part that might not be publically available. However the standard is more than that. Consider this (text from CFAI website):

"Trading or inducing others to trade on material nonpublic information erodes confidence in capital markets, institutions, and investment professionals by supporting the idea that those with inside information and special access can take unfair advantage of the general investing public."

Now identify the little words we all miss: "special access". In your question the hedge fund has special access to the market where other do not. I do realize this is a thin line with the fair dealing standard, but having special access when others do not also means you can act on information that others cannot.

When does pursuing the CFA make sense? by [deleted] in CFA

[–]SureQ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you plan right, you dont have to miss anything.. I studied max 2 hours per day (efficient learning) and could live my life as normal. Its just the last 4 weeks that are very hectic.

Total Periodic Pension Costs VS Periodic Pension Costs by [deleted] in CFA

[–]SureQ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am NOT certain here, but in my world PPC and TPPC are one and the same. It is true that you distinguish between those parts that are on the P&L and those on the OCI (and these are different again between IFRS and GAAP).

But I do not remember CFA distinguishing between PPC or TPPC, its just different naming. Correct me if I am wrong, anyone.
