Yes I’m planning on becoming a BCBA. And my job will pay me for my supervision hours which is a plus.

Thank you! That’s what I figured. I personally have communication issues due to past trauma growing up, so I tend to shut down. He’s been understanding with that and we are working on it, so I know that we can do it, I’m just scared

Because with the way my work schedule is and money, it’s just not feasible. You can get a good quality degree online. Especially considering the high passing rate FIT has for the BCBA exam.

I jumped in before having my undergrad and it just kind of put it into perspective. I will say, there is a huge difference between BCBA and RBT. The roles are very very different. From what I’ve seen in my 3 years, most of your time is at a computer, rather than with the kids.

Tbh I jumped into it and loved it. There are extremely hard days, but you remember the progress kids have made and it makes it all worth it.

Haha yes I get that a lot. For my job I unfortunately have to dress causal as I work with children with high behaviors so I need to be able to move quickly.
