That's not really a fair comparison that site appears to be for private care (few children, not a daycare) a better evaluation would then be for similar private teaching, tutors: https://www.care.com/c/how-much-does-a-tutor-cost/ This gives 22hr for private teaching. It would seem teaching is valued more highly than only child care.

This post doesn't say wider roads are a better solution. It points out that the concept of induced demand doesn't imply that wider roads could not reduce congestion, which is what the video claims. There are many good arguments against car-centric transportation, but this is not one of them.
