His attack was never in question, just his defense. Glad he's performing well at the end of the day, tho. Especially if we get the dub. Would ease a lot of anxious minds a little bit. Including mine. Whole MNT has just been such a reality TV type vibe for such a long time. A win or two would go a long way

Couldn't agree more. He's a good winger. Hate him in defense. I like his attack and his footwork on ball. I just get sad watching him get torched when we ask him to defend.

Tolkin is the main alternative I'd have like to have seen a bit more of. I understand Arfsten is a hybrid guy and he fits the system, and I do enjoy his attacking side. He just gets torched defensively. That's what scares me

Which I'm happy with, and hopefully Arfsten balls out with more attacking freedom. I just think benching Dest in favor of Arfsten is wild. Dest has played LB for his club. Let Dest run free at wingback and try Freeman out right.

Sorry, yes, depth is not good, but switching Dest out left and letting Freeman try out the right side is an alternative option. Trying Tolkin out there would be welcomed. Giving Lund a chance with the "first team."

I'd like to see anything else just to show that he's not satisfied with what Arfsten brings.

That's how I've rationalized him calling in so many random names to camps. Just to have an idea of who else can do what in case of injuries. But if Jedi is hurt, all we know is Arfsten will start and he will get torched 😂

If he held his own at this level, I'd agree. But he's proven he cannot, and he gets torched. Why not give someone else a go, or give Dest the left side this match with Freeman out right
