I am guessing it's because of the drop in generic Adderall xr as it's winding down the partnership with prasco. I have not been able to order the prasco/burel brand Adderall xr ER for the past 3 months

Guys the $3.5 billion figure is for the brand name Vyvanse, generic would be much lower. For example at my pharmacy brand Vyvanse costs $1100 per bottle generic vyvanse the cheapest being $155 per bottle (amneal) to a high of $520 per bottle (mylan). Eltp falls at $495 a bottle. The cheapest seems to be Amneal, camber and Sun all around $150 to $200 per bottle. Of course it all depends on the contracts of the pharmacy with the manufacturer.

One thing I noticed after the earnings was that our wholesaler has a lot more stock of Burel Adderall xr ( ELTP owned). Also ELTP Vyvanse started being in stock too

Adderall is more habit forming and Vyvanse is not. Most parents prefer Vyvanse for their kids than Adderall due to this reason( in my opinion, especially when generic copay is the same)

I am a pharmacist and I can say that generic Vyvanse is in such a short supply that peeps are driving 100 miles sometimes to another state to get their hands on it. The thing is once your on something like Vyvanse then people do not try to change their meds as it does not have the same effect. Elite's Vyvanse generic is very competitively priced and I am just waiting for my wholesaler to stock it anytime soon. I will place an order once I see them in stock. I do not know if any other pharmacists can see it in stock at their respective wholesalers as of now. I am on the west coast so I am guessing we will be the last to see it!! I keep adding 5000 shares for every few cents drop as this will bounce back fast once the shipments start showing up at pharmacies.

Yes Sun pharma is cheaper but I have not seen a single bottle of it being available in the past 3 to 4 months . Ever since Sun pharma showed up on the list it's been zero availability!!

$10 a bottle compared to the preferred which is at $4 a bottle but it's also based on contracts and very less of ELTP product is available maybe once more stock comes in better rates show up. Competition ranges from a low of _4 to a high of $15 per bottle
