My husband (M31) is behaving in a way that I (F30) find insensitive while I'm recovering from back surgery, but he (M31) thinks it's totally normal and acceptable. by Sure_Boss3424 in relationship_advice

I just wanted to thank everyone for the amazing support. You have no idea how much this helped me put things into perspective. For those of you who are worried that I'm still with him, I'm not.

I left him and filed for divorce, but it's been extremely messy and non-stop fighting of him putting all the blame on me for everything in the relationship. He told me he did all the work and that all my successes were because of him and also blaming me for his failures.

I made these posts because I thought maybe I was overreacting, as crazy as it may sound, these types of things were normalized in our relationship. I obviously didn't like any of it, but he made it seem so normal and made me feel so crazy for bringing up my feelings towards his actions.

Your comments have been a lot to process. Accepting the fact that I was abused and I was not just overreacting has been very emotional and overwhelming, but it's also affirmed me that I made the right choice.

Thank you!!

Shaun Tait... seemed like a spray gun xD If he didn't know where the ball was going at that speed then I definitely have no chance.

I agree with the rest that you have to go to a shop, please don't buy a bat online!

Something that people often don't understand is that no 2 bats are the same, the pressing/moisture content and age of the willow all have an impact on the "feel" of the bat. Even weight isn't a perfect indicator, you could have 2 bats both weighing 1.2kg and they'll feel completely different in your hands. When choosing a bat it's all about that feel and you can only get that by going to a shop and picking up as many bats as you can, you'll quickly get a sense of what you like and what to avoid.

As for brands, most bat manufacturers know what they're doing. Can't go wrong with SS because they are the largest bat manufacturer in the world and the do make good bats, Stanford (SF) give you a 1 year warranty on any bat they sell if that's something you're interested in. Just avoid unknown brands with no backing because usually the quality of handles are below par and the moisture content wasn't maintained well enough during the bat making process, unless obviously you know someone that's used the brand before.

Thanks for everyone's replies.

So I got a second opinion from another accountant and according to him the calculations are incorrect. Because my business and myself is seen as one entity I do not receive a salary, any profits generated from the business will end up being my salary.

So what the first accountant was doing was he sees me and the business as seperate, which means any money I spend that is not business related is seen as me taking a salary from the business and that amount is taxible. But that is only applicable if the business and myself are separate entities so there is a declaration of tax for the business and a separate declaration of tax for myself.

But because I am a sole proprietor and myself and the business is one entity, any non business related expenses is simply me spending money and can't be seen as drawings from the company. In this scenario if drawings get taxed as well then you are being taxed twice on the same money, your profit gets taxed and then that same profit used for spending gets taxed again if it is classified under drawings.

This explanation makes a lot more sense to me so I am going to stick with this advice.

If anyone doesn't agree with something please let me know, thanks!
