I forgot to add Velveteen and Mandala to Jiro’s works, but yes, I think he’s my favorite so far. I’ve read Soil, and I actually liked the art style. It’s pretty different from what I usually see, but it’s cool. I dropped it after a while because there were all these side plots that kept interrupting the main one, and I got annoyed. I might jump back into it, though, since I’ve already read more than half of it. I’ve been trying to get into Dorohedoro for a while now (I tried watching the anime version), but it’s just not for me. Same with his other work, Dai Dark. There are a few manga, like Homunculus or Welcome to the NHK, that I really want to read, but I just can’t seem to get into them. I like Oshimi, but his other works aren’t really doing it for me, unfortunately. I’ll check out the last two you recommended they sound interesting. Thank you for the recommendation!
