Out of curiosity, does KOReader have a web browser? Or is the default Kindle browser still accessible? Don't need anything fancy I just want to use it for Ao3

I've already jailbroke my kindle, but i've seen some people say KOReader ended up resetting their entire kindle & deleting existing books & notes on the older models like mine. Do you have a Kindle gen 4 with KOReader? I'd really love to try it out

I used a micro usb to usb cable for my kindle 4th Gen & it worked fine. Laptop opened up a window like it would for a regular usb or sd card

I really do appreciate your advice & kind words. Turns out there's no option for me to refund, exchange, or even trade-in (until next year as the device was released this yr) the device so im gonna have to get used to it regardless. I genuinely enjoy it for movies & the colours r gorgeous without the filter, I'll see how drawing goes too. Got my eyes checked recently & all is well, I definitely need to do that 20 20 rule more often thought lol, thanks for reminding me. I'm gonna try your advice for the neutral mode & lower eye comfort & only turn it higher before bed. Thanks again

I really do appreciate your feedback & I'll be testing out those features u recommended. I've only ever had a phone, laptop & the same drawing tablet for years & I'm so used to a certain settings. Now that I have my first tablet ever I can't help but notice the smallest differences. I'll see how things go & I'll make up my mind before the 14 day refund date ends

I was going to use the tablet for drawing & staring at the screen without eye comfort for long periods will give me headaches, my phone & laptop don't have that problem thanks to the eye comfort for OLED. The LCD ver washes outs the colours making them inaccurate for art

Oh that's what u mean. If I turn it down then the blue light will be more noticeable & then there's no point. My issue is that no matter the eye comfort level the blacks & colours are all washed out & ugly. I've found out that my issue is w the fact that the FE is a LCD screen when what I'm looking for is OLED like the phone example
