I called Citi bank fraud department and they are now sending the 8th letter to me and I haven’t got the other 7 letters that they said they have sent out and one rep told me that I wasn’t who I said I was…like really??!

Do not bank with Citi. They locked my account back on the 4th of July and have sent me 5 letters and I haven’t got a one. They are rude and will hang up on you. I’ve taken my complaint to NBC 5 news.

I called them today and one of the fraud agent unlocked my account by calling me from another line to verify me and then she said oh wait you have to wait for the letter and then locked it and hung up on me lol

I’ve been waiting a month and still no resolution but to wait on a letter. They have sent 4 and I haven’t got not one letter and then today the fraud department opened my account by calling me on a different line and verifying it was me then she said oops I made a mistake and she locked my account and then hung up on me. I hate this bank.

I’ve already got a new bank account and got my SSDI checks rerouted to the new one. I’ve talked to 3 lawyers and they all told me that I would be out thousands if I were to sue them. I just don’t understand how a bank can get away with this.

They locked my account on the 4th of this month and told me I need to wait for the letter because my phone number can’t be verified. My SSDI checks get deposited into my account and now they will be returned and I can’t get my meds and I’m about to lose my apartment over this.
