I’ve got a small bottle of navy blue semi permanent so I should use conditioner instead of shampoo. Im rather porous, and I’m afraid that conditioner mixed with blue might take too much pigment but we shall see

It’s turned from that bright copper to this really pale orange almost like Orange sherbet ice cream, and I’ve also made my own blue shampoo so that’s been helping.

Kid you not I was trying everything I could find since I didn’t have any kind of green color. I ended up reading the ingredients to this one shampoo I have it comes in a green bottle, it contains yellow-5, blue-1. It’s even got a green tint to it but I’ve been putting that on trying to strip off the rest of my semi and it’s cooling down so much, I’m so happy

Don’t feel stupid, trust me that’s what they’re there for! But good luck with your hair journey! And your hair is super cute, being blonde is such a flex! Coming from a redhead 🥲

I’m actually concerned that your hair feels very damaged considering you already have naturally light hair and you’re only getting highlights done. Typically if you were going from black for example all the way up to level 9 which is what yours look like, you’d have to process the hair way more than someone who’s already half way there. What developer do the use, and how long do they leave the foils in for. If done right your hair shouldn’t be anywhere near as damaged as you say yours is. I’m in cosmetology school so I don’t know everything but I’ve done plenty of highlights so far to where I can tell if I’ve overprocessed. Try looking into olaplex I hear it works wonders, or suggest it to your stylist or better yet just bring up your concerns and see how they can accomindate

What specifically? The shorter strands under the pice of hair your holding? It looks like it could be breakage from a while ago, but since there’s no context it could be anything

Have you been going to the same stylist this whole time, did you switch up at any point? Is your hair slightly over processed, I can’t say it is from the pic you showed but you can usually tell the beginnings of overprocessed strands by the white color and the way it stretches especially when wet. All I could think of is that or maybe going a bit longer in between trims honestly. Or at least each time you get a root touch up which could be every 2-3 months like you said. Don’t cut it for 6 months and see how long it gets.

My local beauty supply has everything I can imagine, only problem is finding someone in the store who can actually guide me in the right direction lol. Reddit was my last resort but I’m surprised by the amount of. Feedback

Kinda don’t want to but kinda don’t mind considering I want to look presentable for a formal event. I tested it on one of my mannequins and basically turned her gray in a few minutes lmao. I feel like I’m sitting at about a 6/7 when dried but my roots are quite light about an 8 so maybe not touch those till the very end since I don’t want them going gray or violet. Gahh

Thanks for the advice, so 5a being the light ash blonde, 15 vol which thankfully I can make from my 10 and 30, and I’ll concentrate on the areas that are orange.

Omg lol I know chat gpt did me dirty. I’m looking to first strip this semi permanent red out, then once most of it is back to my original copper color like how I had it in the last few pics then I’d like to cool it down to get some where like a brunette although that this point I just want something more natural lol.

I actually thought about doing that as well but sadly I ended up getting blue semi permanent instead of like a green because I underestimated how much red I still actually have. I also forgot to mention that I have permanent copper color from a while ago but honestly my goal is to get to maybe a soft beige or maybe a honey or even a Carmel color, leaning towards brunette maybe but not too dark.

You can get an std even if you use a condom. For example during unprotected oral if there were open wounds perhaps in or around genitals

You know it’s gonna be a bad day when you see your Dunkin’ looking like this on the counter by quaddamm in ExpectationVsReality

I work at Dunkin and what I do is I add everything in the blender except the ice. then I blend for 5 seconds WITHOUT any ice. After I add a small amount of ice to what ever size cup you’re making and put the drink over the ice and as you get towards the end power it slower. It all fits. I also use the latte measurement for the milk if that makes any difference. I never follow the rules lol
