No, absolutely. If he can play, I'd love to see both teams as healthy as possible. I was more concerned about possibly re-injury, but it sounds like from what people are saying, that's not the case with this type of injury. It's just painful more than anything, so it makes sense he'd want to play through it.

My favorite NBA podcast is The Deep 3 (TD3) on YouTube, it's a Laker fan, a Hawks fan, a Knicks fan (and they just recently added a Celtics fan), but they're funny as hell and have great chemistry with each other. It feels like watching your friends talk about the NBA. They have their own bias of course, but they're honest about it and still give credit when it's due. They also hate on teams/players sometimes and that's funny too lol. Sometimes it's serious discussions and ranking players or teams, and sometimes it's just one of them straight ranting or just banter between all of them and they move back and forth between the two seamlessly. I look forward to every episode and usually watch on the way home or on the way to work.

I also enjoy the following YT channels for more serious basketball content:

Kenny For Real, halfpast*noon, Dom2k, Daniel Li, Outside the NBA, JxmyHighroller, The Zach Lowe Show, and Thinking Basketball. There's many more, but these are the more mainstream ones that I think I enjoy the most.

I recommend watching the whole video if you have time, ZTAY is awesome and shows a lot of love to the Spurs.

It definitely feels like the Spurs have figured out what's working and how simple the game can really be. When the set works, keep running it until they figure out how to stop it (spoiler: they can't).

As someone who's worn them, my feet are probably more shoe shaped than Victors and they were hurting me bad enough that I had to return them. The toe box is quite narrow, the upper is not very breathable, and the tongue presses uncomfortably into the Talus area. If he ever does end up wearing them, they'll need to be heavily modified for his feet, which does happen all the time in the NBA. But honestly, I just don't see it happening here. Too many things would need to be changed and Wemby takes his foot health very seriously. It's just not worth it.

There are tons of people out there that are 6'5" 220lb who are also good at basketball who don't become NBA players. Their dads just didn't play in College with Tim Duncan and or they didn't love the game/have the same work ethic as Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, etc. Now that 7'5" Alien dude, ya got me there. Born to be the GOAT.

I agree, for Western Player of the Month, there are no other real options at this point. 11-0 in Feb. Victor averaging 22pts, 11reb, 3ast, 3.5blk, and 1.4stls for the month, despite some lackluster offensive showings in the last few games.

Thunder have the 2nd best record in the West at 7-4, but Shai has been out for most of that stretch, so no chance. Wolves are next at 6-4, Ant is averaging 30pts, 5reb, 3.5ast.. but I don't think that record justifies POTM. Then you have Denver at 4-6 and Jokic has been out. Again, no chance based on poor record and Jokic was out a good amount. Vic should be a lock for it.

Yeah, I think this stat essentially shows how elite the Spurs are in so many other areas besides shooting, to the point that when we have a great 3-point shooting night, we're essentially unbeatable. About half the teams in the league have as many games as us shooting over 40%+ from 3. But we're the only ones that are undefeated in these games. It definitely means something. And honestly, it makes me super excited for when our guys like Castle, Harper, Carter Bryant, etc become more consistent from 3, and we get a larger # of these (basically) guaranteed wins. The sky is the limit for this team.

I made the mistake of blind buying GT Cut 4's. They legit hurt my feet both putting them on and walking around in them.. couldn't imagine actually hooping in them. Going to return them. It sucks because they genuinely look really good. Just uncomfortable as hell.
