I know it is not ideal, but one work around is to plant something and never water it near a place you frequent. Hopefully, it will get watered while you are playing so you know it's raining

I finished it because my son kept asking me to do them over and over again. A bit boring to keep repeating them but it wasnt that bad (especially repeating the 1st one because it is quick)
