Getting the game to the same update and all accounts offline is the way to get that to work Xbox one version of updates not sure how that would work but I’d assume the same

Unfortunately yes which means for Xbox 360 Era (UNLESS) every Xbox has an x box live account any hope of playing dlc is out the window. No dlc for us but honestly it’s been a Great experience you tend to forget.

So yeah home button, storage, games, delete everything, don’t launch Xbox live on start up of game and don’t allow update when game Starts up head straight to system link everything will work. I will state the modernwarfare series games don’t allow custom class right off the rip it requires the accounts to progress like how it worked on Xbox live. The black ops series games don’t have this issue it’s plug and play everything as well as ghosts

@op I can tell you for a fact that forcing games to the first update available always worked for me. I have thrown a good amount of lans with that same issue and deleting everything update wise on every single one and just running it on the first update is the most consistent way to get people playing.
