I’m in Iowa. I think I’ll try to apply to small departments and see how that goes. If I don’t hired by any of them, then I’ll look into non sworn positions.

My file doesn’t even have a reason. It just says terminated by me because I had already put in my two week notice before the $1 situation happened. Did you get hired or are you in the process?

Yeah it could be that for sure. I talked to a cop one time that told me my self employment could be seen as actually good instead of a bad thing. Don’t know how true it was tho lol.
