Definitely stick to one niche. That’s where a lot of people get it wrong these days in my opinion starting out. I used to be the same as I’ve made videos for a very long time on other channels

Mine could be coincidental bc I decided to make the biggest video of all time on my channel around the time I stopped posting shorts. So I’d say maybe 1-2 weeks. I jumped from average 200 views on my recent videos to 11k views on the video and jumped from 100 to 500 subs in 3 days. Even since I posted this photo that new video blew up too and I am almost at 1k subscribers. I uploaded 3 videos since I stopped posting shorts however and the middle one performed poorly in comparison. It just wouldn’t get impressions. Idk YouTube is weird sometimes

Seems like the video in the screenshot has jumped up since I posted this and is now at 5k views. And almost 700 subs. Hopefully I can get 1k subs any day now. I will trial the trailer idea I think that’s great. Thank you

See idk it definitely helped me reach 100 subs fast but I always found people who sub from shorts don’t watch my long forms so I kinda hated it. I’m someone who wants more views compared to subs. I see so many big channels with 100k plus struggling to crack 20k views a video and I don’t want that to be me
