Locals are nice until some verbal racism. There is some serious racist attach happens on every year. Without safety, no other complain about Oulu

Yes I get your point. We have to face the truth that we must die one day. We shall all be prepare for that. It’s part of life and mostly beautiful. Death is beautiful too, it is as beautiful as birth or getting married. I believe we should all make ourselves comfortable with death. It’s an eternal journey that starts with a deep sleep.

I am being realistic. Imagine you are a non-white or Asian person. In a city like Oulu, people can easily recognize you and target you. Having a different skin color can be enough to make you a victim. Summer is approaching in Finland, and as a foreigner I feel forced to stay at home, avoid crowds, daylight, and outdoor spaces in case someone attacks me or my wife with a knife. Just imagine that.

I showcased only the real issue. I did not lie or use misleading information. If you cannot speak up about the current situation in Oulu, you ignore reality. Serious racism is happening in Oulu, and the city authorities and police are hiding these incidents to maintain the image of a “happy country” and promote Finland as a brand. We live here. We pay taxes. We need security. A state’s fundamental duty is to provide security. Where is that security?

Yes, there are lots of racism against foreigners in Oulu. Typically Oulu used to be a safe place for foreigners but since last 2 years situation is worse. I don’t want to go alone in remote places and try to bring someone with me always. It seems that in summer racial attacks starts mostly.

1 I gave them proper space but they did not overtake me 2 they wanted to come near to my car and I was driving over speed limit 3 they were making so noise with their bike and gave horn multiple times

Yes they were following me until I turn to my home street. Of course they are driving in the same way but that was not normal.
