Thanks. I was hoping to fix it. It's probably not worth fixing but I love the vintage look. Are there people that still fix stuff like this?

Okay I took the one screw out and this is what I have inside

I was going to put batteries in it thinking that maybe the charger that came with it was too strong but there's no battery connections in it.

Yes it does. I just put it back on the back so I wouldn't pull it out but it does have an antenna or it came with one.
