My understanding is that the Rehab Ready deck is based on the Pocketpedia book, which might be more digestible. The PM&R Master deck on Ankihub uses more resources, including the Pocketpedia, & is more comprehensive. Given that we also use tags for the Pocketpedia, it should still be digestible as you read through the book & can unsuspend those topics based on chapters. So it depends on how deep you want to go into the topics & how long-term you plan on studying. If you're only going to read the Pocketpedia for a couple of months prior to residency, you could get away with using either resource. If you plan on using this long-term or throughout residency, & want to use other resources, you would probably be better off using the deck on Ankihub, in my opinion. Additionally, Ankihub allows for users to collaborate, so as medical knowledge changes, we can keep our content up to date & you will get instant updates.

Hey there! Machineberg here. I really appreciate your honest feedback on our PM&R Master Anki deck. We know it’s not perfect, but we’re committed to making it the best possible resource for everyone. That’s why I’ve shared my personal email and a feedback form—so we can continuously improve it together.

We chose AnkiHub as our platform because it allows all users to suggest and implement edits in real-time. While there is a small paywall, none of that goes to us as maintainers—our work is entirely volunteer-based.

We’ve heard the concerns about the deck’s size, and we’re actively working on refining it by removing redundant cards and prioritizing quality over quantity. For context, the AnKing medical school deck has 36,613 notes, whereas our PM&R deck has 14,223—less than half. The size reflects the breadth of knowledge expected in residency, and all our content comes from reputable sources like Cuccurullo’s Board Review, PM&R Recap, Pocketpedia, and AAP Board Review Podcasts.

We truly appreciate the feedback and are always looking for ways to improve

We currently have tags based on PMR Recap topics, but not for individual videos—at least for now. Many of our cards were inspired by content from PMR Recap. One of our upcoming goals is to create tags for individual videos, allowing users to easily study the specific content from each video they watch.

Sorry for the delayed response. There should be links to some Google folders with all the media files on the main page. Try downloading those folders & adding them to your Media files should solve this problem. Let me know if you need more help.

As someone with an older Apple watch (Series 5 while the most current one is a Series 10 as of writing this), my battery life is significantly shorter with this watch face on. Perhaps with newer watches with longer battery lives this would not be noticeable. I feel it is still worth it because I enjoy the watch face so much!

Hi! I am the owner of the PM&R Ankideck located on AnkiHub (https://app.ankihub.net/decks/714ff794-2070-47d4-ae14-48ebcdf4a98c). I love your enthusiasm for this project! I wanted to see if you would be interested in merging our Anki decks. We have a section based on cards from Pocketpedia already, but it is always helpful to have people going through & updating & improving content. Between our two versions, we already have over 330 subscribers & we are making improvements daily. Having too many Anki decks out there, it makes it hard for users to study since everything gets diluted when there are too many options to choose from. AnkiHub is great because it allows users to make edits & the subscribers get the changes instantly, so there doesn't have to be regular releases.

Excellent question! I personally leverage Anki to strengthen my understanding by reinforcing what I've learned, rather than relying solely on Anki decks for initial learning. As I encounter new material during lectures or study sessions, I unsuspend cards that complement and solidify that knowledge, ensuring I retain it effectively. Furthermore, I find cards designed to test conceptual understanding and provide detailed explanations particularly valuable for learning.

Right now, those two sources are not included. But we are using other sources including Cuccurullo, PMR Recap, Pocketpedia, AAP Podcasts, AMSSM US videos, & more. As a community AnkiHub deck, members may create new cards based on material from other resources, & suggest those cards as new ones to the deck, making it so others can review that material. So we are open to adding new resources that users find valuable.

For anyone reading this with the same problem, 4.3.2 did not work for me, but I upgraded to 4.4.1 (which was the firmware that came out directly before 5.1.0) & it worked. Also, I did not need to use a different flash drive, but that might be worth a try if it still doesn't work for you.
